a) Mission Statement: A continuous and integrative effort to update and upgrade all members in the profession of purchasing and materials management, consistent with internationally accepted techniques and practices. b) Providing industry-relevant courses, workshops, seminars and conferences: organising interactive professional and social activities for members including educational/plant visits; designing and conducting special, customised in-house training programmes for skills development of personnel and management staff, local and overseas; offering SIPMM Competency Awards. c) Publishing the Singapore Purchasing Managers' index (PMI) on a monthly basis.
